Terms of Service

These terms cover buying and using a square on The $1 Wall (the "Wall"). The seller is TMB LLC, a New York company ("we", "us"). By buying a square you agree to them.

1. What you get

• One square on the Wall for each $1 you pay (a 2×2 block is 4 squares, $4, and so on).
• Your square shows the image (logo), name and link you give us. Tapping it opens your link.
• Your square stays up for as long as the Wall is online (we've said at least 5 years). You can ask us to change your logo, name or link at any time by email.
• A square is advertising space on a website. It is not an investment, a share in TMB LLC, or ownership of anything, and it doesn't earn you money.

2. How a square goes live

After you reserve a spot, you pay through Stripe. Once the payment comes through and we check your content against the rules below, your square goes live. Until then it shows as reserved.

3. Content rules

Your logo, name and link must not be or lead to anything that is:

• illegal, or that promotes illegal activity
• hateful, harassing, or violent toward any person or group
• adult or sexual content
• misleading: scams, phishing, malware, fake giveaways, impersonating another business, or "get rich" schemes
• someone else's trademark or artwork that you don't have the right to use

We can decline or remove any square that breaks these rules, including if the link starts breaking them later. If we remove your square for a rule violation, we refund what you paid for it.

4. Payments

Prices are in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe, and we never see or store your card number.

5. Refunds

See our refund policy. In short: a full refund within 7 days of purchase on request, and a refund any time if your square never went live or we removed it.

6. Your responsibility

You confirm you have the right to use the logo, name and link you submit, and that they follow these rules. You're responsible for the website your square links to.

7. Limits

We work to keep the Wall online and your square showing, but the site is provided "as is" and we can't promise it will never be down for maintenance or outages. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for your squares.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes don't take away refunds you were already owed.
